The Olompali People
Established in 1982, The Olompali People, a committee of the Marin State Park Association, is the nonprofit volunteer support organization for Olompali State Historic Park. Through the efforts of TOP, a general plan was created that led to the opening of the Park to the public in 1990. TOP is dedicated to preserving and restoring the cultural and natural history of the park, as well as to enhancing educational and interpretive programs . TOP's goals include restoring the Mary Burdell Victorian Garden, restoring historic buildings at the park, and supporting an Historic American Landscape Survey of Olompali's 8,000-year human history.
